    Novice Resolutions Empty Novice Resolutions

This was probably discussed before, but I have not witnessed any such discussion.
Each time it comes to resolution selection, many potential topics are rejected because they are likely to produce messy and confused debates on the novice level even if the debates on these resolutions can turn out very interesting on the varsity level. As such, a separate novice resolution seems sensible. It would also discourage the practice of novices running varsity cases they do not fully understand, as there would not be many varsity cases on a novice topic.
    Thoughts?

I know Jim Menick is a huge advocate of this type of thing. They call it the "Modest Novice." Here is the website: http://www.modestnovice.org/

If this thing becomes popular around the country, I think it would be a really good thing too.
